Today I thought it might be fun to share some other great home and interior design blogs you might want to check out – apart from A Residence of course – and the people behind them. It’s always great to find new blogs and there is a real variety here, from modern to vintage to quirky to budget, from families to couples to singles. The inspiration for interiors is far reaching, these bloggers are influenced by travel, food, fashion, culture, environment, relationships.

Molly and the Princess interiors blog

I love that Molly leads a double life of art historian by day, blogger by night. Her beautifully curated blog, Molly and the Princess, named after her bicycle, is full of simple but stylish design ideas inspired by modern trends, history and her love of the Devon and Cornwall coastline.

The Design Sheppard

Stacey Sheppard is a freelance writer and blogger who specializes in interior design. She lives in Dartmouth in the beautiful rolling hills of Devon. From budget to hit end design The Design Sheppard rounds up the very best products, projects, events and designers. Whenever I google a tend Stacey’s blog seems to pop up, she has her finger on the pulse!



Jen Stanbrook founded Love Chic Living, a multi award winning interior design blog focusing on style and design for a family home, she has two girls aged 9 and 12. Jen also knows an awful lot about Pinterest, do check her out over there for oodles of inspriration.






Amanda Cottingham writes the top ranking UK lifestyle blog The Ana Mum Diary full of thoughtful home interiors, travel, design, food, beauty and fashion. She has a great eye for beautiful home treasures and how to display them.





Becky Goddard-Hill is a published author and multi award winning blogger at A Beautiful Space and Thrifty Home.

Becky has been blogging for almost 10 years and her sites are jam packed with ideas for family life, homes, gardens and interiors and upcycling.

At #tidylife interiors enthusiast Antonia publishes a wide range of house, garden and lifestyle inspiration, inspiring readers to improve their homes in affordable ways. I love Antonia’s down to earth advice and achievable style ideas, perfect for the modern family.

Old Fashioned Susie, is the home of vintage lover Susie, a lifestyle and interiors blogger with a passion for fashion and travel. Susie is renovating her Edwardian home, has background in Fine Art and loves rummaging in junk shops for quirky pieces to mix with new and classic styles. She loves stripes too, which makes her a great person to know in my book!





Rachel Newcombe regularly writes homes, interiors and property features for a range of magazines, websites and blogs. On the award wining Fresh Design Blog she focusses on modern and contemporary home and garden ideas, from aspirational designer buys to affordable high street finds. Rachel has great ideas to keep you on trend whatever your budget.

Award winning lifestyle blog Arianna’s Daily is written by Interior designer & stylist Arianna whose passions range from interiors, travel, fashion, food to general lifestyle.

It’s refreshing to see fashion in the mix too, Arianna is a gorgeous model.





Interior Designer Carole King authors Dear Designer’s Blog, covering trends in home decor, shopping tips and anything else that inspires her; in particular her new country cottage that has recently undergone a total transformation. I’ve been following this one with interest as it has always been a house fantasy of mine to own a holiday let!


Karen Jones’ passions are white and Scandi style decorating, she blogs at The White Approach and own The White Approach online store. Her home is Art Deco and her ideas are always innovative and cost saving.
